Iowa 80 Truckstop, located in Walcott, Iowa, is known as the World's Largest Truckstop and sits at Mile Marker 284 on Interstate 80.  The term "The Perfect Spot" refers to the strategic farmland location chosen by founder Bill Moon, who identified it as an ideal halfway point between Des Moines and Chicago for truckers.

Opened in 1964 by Standard Oil (later Amoco), the facility began as a modest building with a small store, single lube bay, and restaurant.  Moon, a former Standard Oil district representative, convinced the company to let him manage the site in 1965 and purchased full ownership in 1984.

Under the Moon family's leadership, the truckstop underwent 32 expansions, including a major 2017 renovation of its 130,000-square-foot main building.  It now features 6 fast-food chains, a movie theater, a chiropractor, a worship space, and the Iowa 80 Trucking Museum.  The facility also hosts the annual Walcott Truckers Jamboree, a major event celebrating truck drivers that drew 44,000 attendees in 2023.
