This year, the US Postal Service's commemorative stamp program encouraged us to look beyond ourselves and strive for great things. From legendary figures such as Ronald Reagan and Arthur Ashe to awe-inspiring creations such as skyscrapers and sports cars, the 2005 stamps showcased a variety of subjects from the worlds of nature, science, the arts, and public services. This new edition of The Commemorative Stamp Yearbook offers insight into the development of each stamp, as the men and women behind the commemorative program discuss the process of creating tiny masterpieces that bring into focus the beauty of our nation and the accomplishments of its greatest citizens.
Beautifully designed as a keepsake for collectors of all ages, The Commemorative Stamp Yearbook is the perfect way to capture the beauty and diversity of the year's stamp program. Featuring space for collectors to affix their matching stamps, this is a book no stamp enthusiast will want to be without.
