This 118 year old hardcover book is in remarkable condition. Cover has very little wear, mainly on corners and spine. There is a name lightly written on flyleaf. There is discoloration on flyleaves and foxing on title page. Pages are only slightly discolored. Spine has not been broken, binding is tight.
This book introduces children to famous artists and their paintings. The painting is in black and white, and Powers describes the colors and painting then gives a brief biographical sketch of each artist.
