This book is arranged according to the liturgical year, from the First Sunday of Advent, November 29, 1998, to the solemnity of Christ the King, November 21, 1999.
The three Scripture readings for each Sunday and holy day are given in both the Revised New American Bible translation and the New Revised Standard Version. Included are all the readings for appropriate vigil Masses and for the Triduum. Where there is an option for a shorter or longer reading, the longer is given. Lectionary reference numbers are given for each set of readings. Each reading is presented in sense-line format and is marked for stresses to help readers practice their proclamations.
