Used in acceptable condition: former library book; cover has wear; pages are age-toned and have some usage wear; some staining on pages; page edges apparently were damp at one time; binding is still tight and all pages intact.
They were all the same age, all cousins, and all spending the summer together on Grandma's farm in upper New York State! There were delightful, carefree hours ahead: for Fourth of July celebrations, for swimming, exploring the wood, haying and picnicking - until the long drought threatened to dry up all the wells in the county, including the one on Grandma's farm. Beth, Carol, Jim and Toby Cousins suddenly realized the tremendous importance of water and learned the need for it felt by every living thing, as they helped in trying to make each crystal drop to the work of two.
