This novel is set in Neosho, a small town in Southwestern Missouri. It’s about a deputy Sheriff named Jake Wells who once had a great adventure through the door to danger. Now, he finds himself unable to forget the beautiful woman he met while on the other side. He vows to return to find her when one day she appears through the door into Jake's time.
