The term “injustice collectors” was coined by a psychiatrist to describe people who suffer from an unconscious need to feel the world has wronged them. These eight well-tempered stories, two of which appeared in the Atlantic, center for the most part on characters of this kind who have been born with enviable advantages: the milieu is the conservative top layer of Society, the setting New York and “Anchor Harbor".
