The Map Book is a tool to reinforce and extend the geographic knowledge of students. It consists primarily of two elements: blank maps and fact sheets. This book can be used in a variety of ways at all grade levels. If students are learning about locations of major political or geographic regions, have them color in these places on the appropriate blank map. As students begin to study major cities, landforms, and rivers, they can use the fact sheets as a source of information about these features at the state, regional, national, or world level.
