About the Ron Mehl is the pastor of a large church in Beaverton, Oregon. He is the author of the Gold Medallion winner God Works the Night Shift, Meeting God On a Dead End, Tender Commandments, and Just in Case I Can't Be There. He is also the author of Surprise Endings, which deals with the good God brings out of "bad things," a subject Ron is uniquely qualified to teach about, as he deals with active leukemia in his daily life. Ron is a graduate of L.I.F.E. Bible College and has been a frequent speaker at leadership conferences and retreats. He and his wife Joyce have two sons.
